Felton Village Hall

Regular Groups & Activities

Village Hall is home to a vibrant mix of local user groups and regular activities that bring our community together throughout the week. From exercise classes and hobby clubs to music groups and social gatherings, there’s always something happening here for people of all ages and interests.

Our user groups form the heart of the hall, creating a welcoming space where residents can learn new skills, keep active, and connect with others. Many sessions are open to new members, so if you’re looking to try something different or get involved locally, you’ll find plenty of opportunities here. Browse the list below to see what’s on and how to join — or contact us if you’d like to start a new group of your own.

Felton Flower Show Society celebrates it’s 70th anniversary in 2024. It’s main event is the annual summer show held in August at Felton Village Hall. There are over 80 classes to enter covering Flowers, Fruit & Vegetables, Flower Arrangements, Produce & Baking, Handicraft & Photography. The show is open to the public at 2.30 p.m. and there are some sideshows and refreshments.
In addition, the society has a very popular Plant Sale in the spring held at Felton House, where refreshments are available together with tours of the interesting house.
Other events during the year include visiting speakers on garden related subjects, and hands-on Flower Arrangement demonstrations.
The committee would welcome new members, especially younger people with computer skills, so that we can continue these social events. Contact Anne Cantwell, Secretary on: 01275 474647.

There is no meeting in August due to holidays etc. Twice a year a “Bring & Buy Sale” is organised with proceeds going to charity.

Group members pay a sub which is currently £10 p.a. plus £1 per meeting to cover coffee and biscuits. Visitors are asked to pay £2 per visit.
